Parking and Access

Limited on-site parking is available (arrive early!), and free on-street parking is available in neighbouring roads.

A side entrance from the church car park provides ramp access to the building.

Local Directions

From Bournemouth

Take the main road through Winton (Wimborne Road) towards Moordown.
Just after 'The Holly Tree' public house, turn left into Comber Road.
At the end of the road turn right onto The Avenue.
Moordown Baptist Church is a short distance along on the left.

From Poole

Travel along Ringwood Road to the Mountbatten Arms roundabout.
At the roundabout turn right into Wallisdown Road.
At the next roundabout, continue straight on.
At the next roundabout (Bournemouth University), continue straight on.
At the next roundabout, continue straight on along a short section of dual carriageway. (Talbot Avenue)
At the next roundabout, turn left onto another short section of dual carriageway. (Talbot Rd)
At the end of the road, turn left at the traffic lights.
You are now on Wimborne Road, Winton.
Continue straight on and just after 'The Holly Tree' public house, turn left into Comber Road.
At the end of the road turn right onto The Avenue.
Moordown Baptist Church is a short distance along on the left.

From Ferndown

Proceed along New Road through West Parley until you reach Northbourne Roundabout.
At the roundabout, continue straight on towards Bournemouth.
At the next roundabout, take the road straight on, which is a short section of dual-carriageway.
On the dual carriageway, get into the right hand lane.
At the first set of traffic lights, turn right into Wimborne Road and then right again into The Grove.
From The Grove, take first left into The Avenue.

From Wimborne

Take the A341 (Queen Anne Drive) to Bear Cross Roundabout.
Take the road straight ahead to Kinson (Wimborne Road).
Continue through Kinson (straight ahead at all traffic lights) until you reach Northbourne Roundabout.
At the roundabout, turn right towards Bournemouth.
At the next roundabout, take the road straight on, which is a short section of dual-carriageway.
On the dual carriageway, get into the right hand lane.
At the first set of traffic lights, turn right into Wimborne Road and then right again into The Grove.
From The Grove, take first left into The Avenue.
Moordown Baptist Church is a short distance along on the right.

Long Distance Directions

From The Midlands / London / East

Take the M3, then M27 West and A31 to Ringwood.
From the A31 leaving Ringwood, follow signs onto the A338 to Bournemouth.
Leave the A338 at the second exit, signposted 'Wimborne'.
At the roundabout (Cooper Dean Roundabout), turn right onto the A3060 (Castle Lane West).
Continue along Castle Lane West until you reach a set of traffic lights with a Pizza Hut on your left.
At the traffic lights, turn left into Wimborne Road and then first right into The Grove.
From The Grove, take first left into The Avenue.
Moordown Baptist Church is a short distance on the right.

From The West

Take the A35 towards Bournemouth/Poole.
(These directions begin from the A35 at Upton).
At the next two roundabouts, continue straight on along the dual carriageway towards Bournemouth.
At the next roundabout, turn right onto the dual carriageway towards Bournemouth.
At the next roundabout, turn left onto the dual carriageway towards Bournemouth.
Get into the right hand lane.
At the next roundabout (Mountbatten Arms roundabout), turn right onto Wallisdown Road.
At the next roundabout, continue straight on.
At the next roundabout (Bournemouth University), continue straight on.
At the next roundabout, continue straight on along a short section of dual carriageway. (Talbot Avenue)
At the next roundabout, turn left onto another short section of dual carriageway. (Talbot Rd)
At the end of the road, turn left at the traffic lights.
